As part of the Memorial Day services, the Missouri State Society Daughters of the American Revolution honors the soldiers and pioneers in Cold Water Cemetery and throughout our country. These brave individuals fought and worked to build our nation and our freedoms, thus we rededicate ourselves to be worthy of their gifts.
Participating in this ceremony are representatives of the three main veterans organizations of our country, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Civil Air Patrol. The main address during the program is given by a person of military background to honor those veterans buried in the cemetery.
Cold Water Cemetery is located in north St. Louis County, Missouri, just one mile north of Highway 140 on Old Halls Ferry Road. Services are held regardless of the weather.
